More Sharp Co. businesses apply for liquor licenses

 

The Arkansas Department of Finance’s Alcoholic Beverage Control board reports several more Sharp County businesses have applied for licenses to sell alcohol.

The following applications were received during the week ending Friday, April 19:

Qdoba, Everyday Chef coming to Jonesboro

Qdoba, Everyday Chef coming to Jonesboro

Haag Brown Commercial announced Friday it has closed on a deal to bring a new restaurant and store to Jonesboro.

Qdoba Mexican Grill and The Everyday Chef will be located on Parkwood Drive facing Sissy's Log Cabin and Panera Bread, according to a news release from Haag Brown Commercial.

Nix Construction has already begun site work and completion is expected in late summer.

Ribbons cut at two new businesses

Ambassadors of the Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce were busy last week.  They helped cut the ribbon for two new businesses.

Los Amigos, 1310 Highway 62 West, is now open for lunch and dinner.  Owned and managed by Selvin Rodriguez, the menu features a wide variety of Mexican cuisine.

On Friday, a ribbon cutting was held for Farmer's Insurance with Lisa Hodge, 359 East 7th St.  The office, which is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, offers auto, home, life and other insurance options.

Cave City residents now have a new place to get pizza.

Pizza Inn is now open inside Flash Market at 502 N. Main Street.

The menu includes everything from cheese bread to chicken wings and all kinds of pizza, even a Bacon Breakfast pizza.

The store is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily and offers carryout and catering.

They are expected to hire as many as 1,000 new workers in Northeast Arkansas, Southeast Missouri, west Tennessee, north Mississippi and southwest Kentucky.

Jobs available include seasonal, full-time and part-time positions.
