Woman injured in crash | News
A Region 8 woman was hospitalized Sunday following a single-car crash in Southeast Missouri.
Christina J. Barker, 34, of Mountain Home was traveling on Route J, 10 miles south of Gainesville, when she lost control of her 2003 Ford Escape on a curve, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The SUV then traveled off the right side of the road and hit an approach.
Barker was taken by ambulance to Baxter County Regional Hospital with moderate injuries.
It was unknown if she was wearing a seat belt.
