The body of a man found in a submerged pickup truck has been identified.
According to a news release from the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, he Arkansas State Medical Examiner’s Office identified the man as 27-year-old Charles B. Csiszer of Flippin. An autopsy revealed he died of a single gunshot wound to his head. The death was determined to be a suicide.
Sheriff’s investigators found a Springfield .45 caliber semi-automatic handgun and a box of ammunition inside Csiszer’s 1990 Nissan pickup truck.
The truck, with Csiszer still in the driver’s seat, was found Saturday morning submerged in 10 to 12 feet of water off the end of the courtesy dock at the Calamity Beach boat launch area of Lake Norfork.
Csiszer had been missing since October 20, 2012.
