Man charged following single-vehicle accident | News
A Mountain Home man was charged with careless driving after he lost control of his pickup truck and nearly rolled over.
The crash happened at 3:42 p.m. Tuesday on State Highway 5 at Havner Lane.
According to Trooper Britt Clements of the Arkansas State Police, 27-year-old Johnny Prewitt was attempting to negotiate a curve when his Ford Ranger ran off the east side of the road.
Prewitt apparently over-corrected and traveled across both lanes of traffic before leaving the west side of the road. The truck “started to overturn” before coming to a rest upright in the southbound lane.
Prewitt was taken to Baxter Regional Medical Center with undisclosed injuries.
