Cave City man killed in crash | News
Investigators say a Cave City man was traveling at a “high rate of speed” when his pickup truck left the road and overturned, killing him.
The crash happened at 7:22 p.m. Wednesday on Highway 56 near Powells Chapel Road in Evening Shade.
According to Arkansas State Trooper Jeremy Conner’s crash summary, 20-year-old Tyler Ray Crews was traveling west on Highway 56 at a high rate of speed when he failed to negotiate a curve. His 2007 Dodge truck traveled left the roadway and overturned several times.
Crews, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the vehicle.
His body was taken to Heath Funeral Home in Highland.
