Man killed in single-vehicle crash | News
A Pleasant Plains man was killed Thursday when he was thrown from his pickup truck.
At 1:45 p.m. Arkansas State Police responded to the crash on Highway 230, south of Batesville.
According to Trooper Jeremy Page’s report, 72-year-old Harley Jaco was southbound when he lost control of his 1999 Chevy pickup truck and left the road.
The truck overturned and Jaco, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
