Electrical fire causes minor damage at Ash Flat Livestock Auction
ASH FLAT, AR (KAIT) - A morning fire causes only minor damage at the Ash Flat Livestock Auction, according to the Sharp County Sheriff's Department.
Sheriff Mark Counts says dispatch received a call around 8 a.m. Wednesday about flames showing from the front office.
Counts says investigators with the Ash Flat Fire Department and Arkansas State Police determined the fire was contained to the front office and was likely caused by electrical problems.
The sheriff also says the facility remains operable and open at this time.
