Museum to offer day camp
Registration is now open for the Old Independence Regional Museum’s educational day camp.
Campers will explore Native American life through hands-on activities like making coil pots, cornhusk dolls, and medicine pouches. They will also sample Native American foods such as corncakes and popcorn.
The camp is open to first through third graders and will be held Monday, June 10, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
