Time is running out for your family to make history.

The Arkansas Agriculture Department is accepting applications for the 2013 Arkansas Century Farm program.

To be eligible for the designation, applications must be postmarked no later than May 31.

The program recognizes Arkansas’s agricultural heritage and honors families who have owned and farmed the same land for at least 100 years.

In 2012, the first year of the program, 83 farms were certified.

The Spring River Association’s Fourth Saturday Singing will be held this weekend at Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in Strawberry.

The singing will begin at 6 p.m. this Saturday, April 27.
