Ask many people of a certain age who their favorite St. Louis Cardinals player of all time is and they are sure to say "Lou Brock."

Brock, who is originally from El Dorado, is the National League's all-time leader in stolen bases with 938.  In 1974 alone he stole 118 bases.  In 1978 he received the Lou Brock Award for stolen bases, making him the first active player to have an award named after him.

On Friday, March 2, Brock will be at the William J. Clinton Presidential Center for the grand opening of "Play Ball!  The St. Louis Cardinals."

The exhibit will feature memorabilia from the Cardinals franchise, including 100 historic artifacts, World Series trophies and rings and Stan Musial's uniform.

The grand opening program and reception with Brock are free to the public; however, reservations are required.  To reserve a spot, call (501) 748-0425 or email operationslr@clintonfoundation.org.
