Ranger Boats employee accused of stealing from company | Crime
A Ranger Boats employee is being held on $30,000 bond after investigators say he fished items from the company’s warehouse and sold them.
On Wednesday, February 20, Marion County sheriff’s deputies and Arkansas State Police arrested 21-year-old Jacob Caple of Lakeview for theft of property, a Class C felony.
Sheriff Roger Vickers says Caple took multiple trolling motors, depth finders, radios and fish locators from the company warehouse and pawned them.
Caple is locked up in the Marion County Jail awaiting his first appearance in Circuit Court.
Sheriff Vickers said "the investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are expected."
