UPDATE: Baxter Co. murder victim identified | Crime

A man found dead in a Baxter County home has been identified as 20-year-old Roy Lee Hogans of Strawberry.

On Wednesday night Hogans’ body was discovered at a home in the 1200-blcok of Highway 178 West.

According to Sheriff John Montgomery, he had been stabbed more than once.

On Thursday, deputies served search warrants at three residences in the Midway area and collected evidence, the sheriff said. 

Several people have been interviewed, but so far no arrests have been made.

Special agents with the Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division are assisting in the investigation.
