Deputies, special agents investigating homicide | Crime

The death of a 20-year-old Midway man is being investigated as a homicide.

At approximately 10:30 Wednesday night Baxter County sheriff’s deputies were called to a home in the 1200-block of Highway 178 West.

When they arrived deputies found the victim dead at the scene.  The man’s identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The sheriff’s office has not released any information on how the man died; however, more than ten sheriff’s investigators, deputies and Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division special agents are investigating.

According to Sheriff John Montgomery, several people have been interviewed, but no arrests have been made.
