Sheriff: Drive sober...or else | Crime
Title (Max 100 Characters)
If you drink and drive in Baxter County, beware!
The sheriff’s office is joining with law enforcement agencies across the country for the “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign.
This nationwide crackdown on impaired driving begins Friday, August 17 and runs through Monday, September 3. During that time, law enforcement officers will conduct saturation patrols and sobriety checkpoints.
Sheriff John Montgomery says deputies will be “aggressively looking for impaired drivers and will arrest anyone who violates the Arkansas Omnibus DWI law or the state’s underage DWI law.”
