Sheriff's office searching for shooting suspect | Crime
The White County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding a man suspected of opening fire on another man.
Investigators say on June 24, 24-year-old Robert L. Dupriest and 30-year-old Jonathan D. Rice, both of Searcy, got into an argument with 18-year-old Trevor Sarrels outside of his home near Judsonia.
During the argument, deputies say Dupriest pulled out a gun and fired two shots near Sarrels. Dupriest and Rice then drove off with a 16-year-old girl.
Since then Rice has been arrested and charged with aggravated felony assault. He is currently free on bond.
Dupriest is still on the run. He faces the same charges. If you have any information that can help deputies find him, call the sheriff’s office at (501) 279-6279.
