A man faces felony charges after deputies say he tried to run his father's car off the road.
On Wednesday afternoon Baxter County sheriff’s deputies arrested Justin Timothy Massey, 34, on felony aggravated assault and terroristic threatening.
According to Sheriff John Montgomery, on July 9 Massey “raced up behind his father in a separate vehicle on U.S. Highway 62 West” and intentionally rammed his father’s vehicle and tried to run him off the road.
The “vehicular assault” continued to State Highway 126 where Justin Massey reportedly blocked the road and tried to get into his father’s vehicle.
Justin Massey is currently free on $25,000 bond. He’s scheduled to appear in Circuit Court on Thursday, July 26.
