Burglars reel in man's fishing gear | Crime
A Tennessee investment banker will have to invest in some new fishing gear after someone broke into his weekend getaway in Pangburn and stole several rods and reels.
Michael McGinnis of Collierville, TN, contacted the White County Sheriff’s Office on Friday, June 29, after receiving a phone call from a neighbor that his shed on Cypress Shoals Road had been broken into.
According to the report, the thieves made off with two boat batteries, $500 worth of rods and reels, a tackle box, 12 propane bottles, a generator and two weed eaters. A padlock on the shed door was also missing.
McGinnis told investigators he would review game cameras on his property and see if they captured the crooks in action.
