Man accused of selling drugs near school | Crime
A Mountain Home man is accused of selling nearly 2 grams of methamphetamine to the wrong person in the wrong place.
Baxter County sheriff’s deputies arrested 30-year-old Bryan Keith Sutterfield on multiple felony drug charges after a person cooperating with law enforcement bought the drugs from him, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.
According to the report, investigators were watching when the transaction happened last November 30 near Pinkston Middle School in Mountain Home.
Approximately 1.9 grams of meth was purchased during the buy, according to the news release.
Sheriff’s investigators later obtained a bench warrant for Sutterfield’s arrest.
On April 12 he was booked into the Baxter County Detention Center on charges of:
- Revocation bench warrant—felony
- Revocation of bond
- Delivery of methamphetamine—felony
- Distribution near certain facilities—felony
- Non-payment of fines—misdemeanor warrant
He is being held in lieu of $7,200 bond awaiting an appearance in Circuit Court on April 18.
