Sheriff's office announces car auction | Crime
Looking to buy a newer car? The Baxter County Sheriff’s Office might be able to help.
On Wednesday, April 10, the sheriff’s office will auction off this four-door 2001 Ford Taurus.
According to an email from Sheriff John Montgomery, the bidding will start at 10 a.m. at Ultimate Ford, 2448 Hwy. 62 West in Mountain Home. The car may be viewed and inspected at that location before the sale.
Sheriff Montgomery says the car’s engine is in need of repair. The vehicle will be delivered “as is,” with no warranty expressed or implied, to the highest bidder. The price must be paid in full with cash or a cashier’s check.
Proceeds from the court ordered sale will be used to satisfy the court judgment on behalf of the Judgment Creditor.
