Two women were arrested Wednesday after Sharp County sheriff’s deputies said they found “several bags of marijuana” in their home.

Bobbi Knight Lucas, 75, and Susan Wallerstedt, 43, are each charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to use.

According to a news release from Sheriff Mark A. Counts, deputies and agents with the 3rd Judicial Drug Task Force executed a search warrant Wednesday at a home located at 48 Rainbow Trail in Hardy.

During the search, Counts said the officers found “several bags of marijuana, several pieces of drug paraphernalia and currency.”

The two women are currently being held in the Sharp County Jail awaiting a court hearing.
