Convicted child molester moves out | Crime

A convicted child molester has packed his bags and moved out of Baxter County.

According to an email from Sheriff John Montgomery, 49-year-old Stephen Michael Kotlowski moved from his apartment in the 4100-block of Hwy. 178 West in Lakeview.  He is now living in the 1600-block of Central Boulevard in Bull Shoals in Marion County.

A Level 2 registered sex offender, Kotlowski was convicted in 1999 of sexual abuse in the first degree. 

He was accused of fondling the private areas of a 10-year-old girl. 

The victim told police the molestation occurred over a five-year period.
